A number of options await the golfer: Whispering Pines Golf Club, an 18-hole, Joel Goldstrand-designed course and Southbrook Golf Course, an 18-hole Championship course with restaurant and bar. There are many unique lakeside properties with great views and shoreline in this area, as well as more rural estates including out buildings and acreage set around traditionally-styled farmhouses, many of which are from around the turn of the century. Around Town: Earthway Farm: Organic Farm Market, Country Gift Store, and Farm Tours; Fair Haven Farm features fresh strawberries, raspberries and apples. Historic St. Mark's Episcopal Church is the oldest Episcopal Church in Minnesota; and Thayer's Historic Bed and Breakfast is an "old west" Victorian B & B, owned and operated by a psychic and is said to be haunted.
